Who We Are

Reading Hair Properly, Even Through a Screen

Calm light workspace with a laptop, hairbrush and a colour swatch fan on a linen surface
45 min Live video session
3 Consultation formats

We work with hair the way you live with it: in your own bathroom light, with your own products on the shelf and your own week to fit them into. No salon chair, no upselling, no product cupboard to clear.

Sessions run over video from anywhere in the UK or abroad. You talk through what your hair has been through, we look at it together, and you leave with a routine and a colour direction in writing.

What We Offer

Three Ways to Work Together

Pick the format that matches where you are: a single question, a full reset, or a check-in on a plan already running.

Single Consultation

A 45-minute video session for one clear question: why hair feels dry, whether to go lighter, which products to drop.

  • Live look at condition and scalp comfort
  • Short summary by email afterwards
  • Product directions for your hair type

Extended Review

A longer session with a written report: full history of colour, heat and treatments, then a routine and a colour plan on paper.

  • Detailed condition and undertone review
  • Written recommendations you can keep
  • Colour plan to share with your stylist
Minimal arrangement of unbranded haircare bottles and a comb on a pale background

Follow-Up Session

A shorter check-in once the routine has been running, to adjust what is not working and plan the next stage.

  • Progress read against the previous notes
  • Routine adjusted to the current season
  • Next colour step timed with your growth

Recommendations cover professional ranges carried by UK suppliers. Nothing is sold here and no brand pays for a place in your plan: you are told what suits your hair and where it is usually stocked.

How It Works

From First Message to Written Plan

  1. 01

    Send your enquiry

Email a short description of your hair and what you want to change. Photographs are welcome but never required.

  2. 02

    Fill in the pre-session notes

A few questions about colour history, heat use, treatments and how your hair behaves between washes.

  3. 03

    Meet on video

Dry, unstyled hair by a window works best. We look at lengths, ends and roots together and talk through what is realistic.

  4. 04

    Get it in writing

Your routine, product directions and colour plan arrive by email, laid out so a stylist can read them at a glance.

Who It's For

Built Around Distance and Timing

Planning a colour change

You want the shade decided, and the number of sessions understood, before you commit to it.

Rebuilding after lightening

Bleach or heat has left the ends fragile and the routine needs rethinking from the shampoo up.

Living far from a salon

The nearest colourist is an hour away, so every visit has to count and arrive already planned.

Travelling constantly

Different water, climates and hotel showers every month, with no regular chair to sit in.

Consultations are cosmetic, not medical. We do not diagnose or treat hair loss, scalp disease or any other condition. If something we see suggests a medical cause, you will be advised to speak to your GP or a dermatologist.

FAQ

Questions Before You Book

Do I have to send photographs?

No. Photographs help with colour and condition, but the session works without them. Anything you do send is used only for your consultation, kept for a limited period and never passed to third parties.

Can you tell me why my hair is falling out?

No. Shedding, scalp conditions and hair loss are medical matters and need a GP or dermatologist. We can talk about handling, breakage and gentler routines while you get that looked at.

What do I need for the session?

Daylight, a stable connection, clean dry hair left unstyled, and the products you currently use within reach. Ten minutes of quiet is usually enough to cover everything.

Do you sell the products you recommend?

No. You get shade numbers, product types and the ranges to look for, then buy wherever suits you. Nothing is stocked or shipped from here.

Does this replace my colourist?

No, it prepares for one. The plan is written so your stylist can read it quickly, agree or adjust it, and start from a clear brief instead of a conversation at the basin.

Can I book from outside the UK?

Yes. Sessions run over video, so location only matters for timing. Suggest a couple of slots in your local time and we will find an overlap.
